Securities Analyst

Wise Money Israel is an investment firm staffed by Israeli financial professionals, assisting approximately 700 clients from over 30 countries to invest approximately NIS 350 million in Israeli stocks and bonds. Founded in 2010, the firm is licensed with securities regulators in Israel and the U.S. We are growing rapidly and are onboarding many new positions in 2026.

We are seeking a full-time Securities Analyst to lead the firm’s Israeli stock and bond research and analysis from our offices in the Binyamina, Israel (adjacent to the train station).

Responsibilities

  • Full ownership of the firm’s securities research and analysis efforts
  • Over time, the role may expand to include investment management and trading responsibilities
  • Developing and upgrading research methodologies and professional standards, while using advanced financial platforms and artificial intelligence tools to improve the quality, accuracy and efficiency of analysis processes

Research

  • Gathering and analyzing data on the Israeli economy and Israeli capital-market sectors
  • Gathering and analyzing data on Israeli publicly traded companies (TASE and Nasdaq)
  • Monitoring financial statements, regulatory reports, sector, macro and geopolitical trends
  • Utilizing AI tools, financial platforms, and automation to improve research efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness

Analyst Responsibilities

  • Producing in-depth equity research on Israeli publicly traded companies, including valuation models, NAV calculations, and target prices
  • Preparing written research reports, internal investment memos, and investment theses
  • Formulating investment theses and presenting them to the Investment Committee
  • Managing research and analysis of Israeli publicly traded corporate bonds, including credit analysis, yield analysis, duration, and risk assessment
  • Tracking earnings releases, corporate actions, regulatory filings, and material news—mostly in Hebrew

Investment Management

  • Support for portfolio management, investment policy, risk management and trading
  • Analyzing portfolio performance against benchmarks and identifying underperformance factors

  • Mentorship and cross-training with senior portfolio management staff

Job Requirements

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Math)
  • 3+ years of proven experience in Israeli securities analysis
  • Fluent Hebrew (reading and comprehension required for financial statements, press, and regulatory filings)
  • Full command of Hebrew and English at a professional level
  • Strong familiarity with the Israeli capital market, TASE-listed companies, and local financial media
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools effectively in securities research and analysis
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and methodical
  • Professional independence, self-starter with strong initiative and taking full responsibility
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • High ethical standards, trustworthy and responsive
  • Strong computer literacy, including Excel (advanced), Word, financial research platforms, portfolio management systems, PowerPoint
