Hi Evan: I own shares in Shagrir Group Vehicle Services (ticker SHGR), that are listed only on TASE, and that I got in a recent spin-off from Israel-based Pointer Telocation (ticker PNTR on NASDAQ). My U.S. broker (InteractiveBrokers) doesn’t support TASE issues, so I can’t take possession of the shares, even in book entry, unless I open an account with a broker that (1) can hold shares in a company listed only on TASE; and (2) can open accounts (including IRA accounts) for U.S. residents. Can you supply a list of brokers, preferably based in the U.S., that meet these 2 requirements, so I can transfer my SHGR shares into that account, and perhaps invest in other TASE-only Israeli companies? Thanks.

I love Israel. And I am confident that investing in Israeli stocks and bonds will benefit Israel’s economy and my finances at the same time.
